Art in times of uncertainty

Writer's picture: Ragha Abhinaya MRagha Abhinaya M

Art is a powerful tool. I've come to see it as a stress-buster, a make-you-smile activity and a hope-giver when times are not very pleasant, especially when a pandemic is raging.

I recently discovered watercolours and I can't seem to get enough of them. Talk about meditation- this is it! Books have always been a thing I held close to my heart and 'Little Women' is definitely one of my all time favourites.

If you haven't read the book already, I feel you should definitely pick it up. You can order my favourite copy from amazon here -

Here's a painting I did that lies in the intersection of both of those amazing ideas.

We all, from time to time, venture into unknown territory in terms of art and creativity. Who knows where a jewel's hidden?

Hope you are well and wishing you the presence of art in your life.
